Cantor Equity Partners Reveals Acquisition of $458 Million in Bitcoin
A recent disclosure by Cantor Equity Partners unveils their acquisition of $458 million worth of Bitcoin. The transaction, executed through Tether, took place at an average price of $95,320 per BTC.
According to blockchain data, the tokens were transferred to an escrow wallet mentioned in the filing from a Bitfinex hot wallet on May 9th. At present market rates, the bitcoin assets held in this wallet are valued at $500 million as per Arkham data analytics.

Following this development, CEP's shares have experienced a surge of 3.7% during after-hours trading sessions.
